A Winter Evening, 2017

It's a snowy Winter evening and I thought I would share how the front of our home looks decorated for Winter with all the lights on........

Yep, just because Christmas is over, that doesn't mean you need to pack up all the decorations......

In my last post, I shared how I converted my outside Christmas decorations over to Winter Decorations......
The new Winter wreath I made for the front door.....
And how I spruced up my "Snowman" made from wreaths for this year.....
Click HERE if you missed that post.......

I do apologize if some of the photos are a bit blurry because it was snowing outside when I took these photos.......
The lights really brighten up the bleak Winter nights.......
I will let the pictures do most of the talking......
I do like my "SnowMan" all lit up!!
I love this lit snow flake!
As i took these photos I realized the the candles were not on in this lantern and the one on the front porch because I forgot to put new batteries in them......
I was so glad that it snowed the night I took the photos because the snow really made it look Wintery!!
In my next post, I will be sharing how I tranformed the Tree in my Den into a Winter Tree after Christmas......

Before......
 After.......
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  1. Hi Debbie! Your after Christmas outside decor looks wonderful! A lot of folks leave all of their Christmas lights up here a long time I guess because of the snow! You're always so inspiring!

  7. Debbie, your porch is awesome - and I love the warm and inviting glow of those lights! You are right - winter can be so bleak - I think you have remedied that well, my friend!

Sorry I have been MIA - blame it on my first grandbaby, it's all I ever want to do it hold her while I can! In fact I am late meeting them for lunch as I type this - so had better get going! Hope your new year is going wlel so far. Big hugs!

  10. I must admit, I rarely post comments - I'm a enjoy-the-posting-and-photos-and-fly-by boy! But, I've enjoyed your interior decorations *SO* much - and now your delightful porch, glowing with warmth and festive welcoming just goaded me into writing!
How fortunate your friends, family and neighbors are to have you to create such a magical and enchanting wonderland for them to admire and daydream about! I always thought I did a good job of recreating a wonderland - but you've really taken the proverbial cake!
Happiest of new years to you - and I look forward to more inspiring photos and posts!

  15. Debbie that was perfect timing. The snow on your decorations makes it look so pretty and adds that special touch. And you are absolutely right, we don't have to be bare after Christmas, we can always add other decor to relieve the after-Christmas decor blues.
