 Say G'Day Linky Party!!

  Thanks so much , Natasha!!

I also want to Thank Brenda over at Cozy Little House , for featuring my post,
Fall/Halloween Decor in our Living Room, Part 2, from last week's Tweak It Tuesday Party!!
 Thanks so much, Brenda!!

And I also want to Thank Marty, over at A Stroll Through Life, for featuring my post,
Minerva and Colors of Autumn, from last week's Inspire Me Tuesday party!!
Thanks, Marty!!

Thanks so much to these great hostesses!!  Please stop by and visit and link up to these wonderful parties!!

And back to Part 2 of my posts on our Church's Harvest Tea ......

My Theme for this year was "White and Gold Christmas"

If you missed Part 1, please click HERE.......

In this post, I will be sharing my Tables on the Evening of the Tea, the other Tables during Set Up and on the Evening of the Tea and the actual Event and my Guests....

These are my Tables, taken in Candlelight Mode on my Camera on the Evening of the Tea........
Yes, that is Joe.......
And now for the other Hostess's Tables..........

You can see that some Hostesses go "Elegant" with Chair Covers and China or some chose a bit more "Practical" using Paper and Plastic and some use a combination of the 2 but all are beautiful in their own way!!

Lorraine ( and her daughters)-  "Let The Good Times Roll"
They chose a Mardi Gras Theme

Bernadette, Jean and Mary- "Winter Wonderland"

Peg- "It's Crystal Clear"
Peg is a retired nurse who has been hosting a table at this Tea for many years and is a Pro at it.......
I absolutely LOVED this table!!
Peg is a Victorian Soul like I am and she is the one who taught me to shop at The Dollar Tree for items for the Tea.........
The majority of the things on this amazing table came from Dollar Tree over many years!!
Including the trays and clear plastic chargers!!!!!!
And this was going to be her Serving Table........
In the evening.......

Rosemary and Sandy- "Evening in Paris"
Rosemary and Sandy do 2 tables.......
Rosemary is my Co-Chair for the Craft Fair that we run for the Church and my partner in crime in many ways!!

After renting chair covers for several years, they bought them online for a little over $2.00 a piece!!

Rosemary liked my idea of providing a Gift Bag for our Guests to take their favors home in......
Their Favors were the hand painted goblets that they bought from one of our Craft Fair vendors......
 Stunning!!

In the evening.....
There is Rosemary in the background.......

Nancy- "Autumn in the Country"

Ann Marie and Cheryl hosted 3 Tables.......

"Nutcracker Snowmen"
I love those plates which are paper!!

"Festive Fall Days"

"Happy Halloween Witches"
In the Evening.....

Mary Ann - "She Sells Sea Shells"
Unfortunately, I did not get back to this table to get another photo when more things were added.....

Sue- "Wine and Roses"
And again, I did not get back to this table when the center piece was added......

Sue- " Mad Hatter"

Sue did 3 tables in this Theme!!

Table 1.......
Don't you just love it!!

Table 2........

Table 3......
So imaginative!!

Mara did 2 tables.....

Table 1.......

She did "Red Hat Jubilee" for a local Red Hat Society Group!

Table 2......

"Frozen"
Ignore the storage room door being open in the background!!  LOL!!
Mara was the first hostess who bought her own Chair Covers a few years ago......
Stunning, don't you think???
And Dorothy is in Charge of the Event .........

She offers seating for Guests who are not invited by Hostesses.
Other women in the Parish help Dorothy decorate and provide food for these tables.......
Themes were:

"Mum's the Word"
"We Love Pink"
"Let's party"

Some of the Women will bring in food and decorate the Table that they are sitting at as in this case:

"Falling Leaves"

Photos of the Hall taken in the morning on the day of the Tea........
Coffee and Tea Station....
I just want to add that those lanterns were bought at Lowes by one of the Church Custodians....

The also is a Raffle held for Door Prizes donated by the Hostesses and also donated by parishioners and Businesses.......

Sue , who hosted the Mad Hatter tables donated this wonderful prize that contained money and lottery tickets!!
Sue is also kind enough to have donated several other door prizes and she also donates a wonderful basket for the Speciality Basket Raffle that we hold during our Craft Fair!!

And you may remember these people who are my dear friends and always lend a hand and help out with different events that Joe and I are part of for our Church.....

Here they are working at the Flea market that I helped run in the Summer....
These people and a few more not pictured here were my Guests at the Tea.....

It is my way of thanking them for their friendship and their willingness to always help out..........

Hence the quote that I placed on their Gift Bags.....
"Friends are the Family You Chose"

I am so honored to have them as my Friends and they are considered Family!!
Bill is President of our Parish Council and was selling tickets for the Raffle all Evening and barely had a chance to come and sit down to eat!!

These are the same people who will help out selling tickets for our Specialty Basket Raffle and working in the Kitchen at our Craft Fair!!

Joe and I are FOREVER indebted to this great bunch of people who we consider part of our Family!!

I hope you enjoyed my posts on the Harvest Tea!!

I apologize for not taking more photos the evening of the tea but once guests start arriving , it gets very chaotic for the hostesses as people are viewing the Tables and asking questions about them.......

I am not sure I will be able to be a Hostess at next year's Tea as it falls a bit later in October and with my knee situation, I am afraid to commit to anything too far in the future.....

But if I am able to be a Hostess, I have already picked a Theme for next Year.......

"An Elegant Harvest"

If I can't be a Hostess then I plan on hosting a Harvest Party at my house......

I hope you will come back to visit when I share Part 3 of my Halloween Decor in my Dining Room in a few days.....
