Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

On Friday, I started to change over the Front Porch from Summer to Fall.....
I got most of it done on Friday with packing up the Patriotic Decor, hauling it down to my Storage Shed and packing the car up with my Fall outside decor....
I also brought up my Christmas/Winter evergreen garland that I put around the doorway and railing....
Last year, looking for ways to make decorating the Front Porch from Fall to Easter easier for me, I decided that I would put up my evergreen garland right after Labor Day and simply add a Fall leaf garland, that I bought last year in Gabes, to it.....
After Halloween, I simply took down the Fall leaf garland, as the lights were already on the evergreen garland, and that took so much time off my Christmas Front Porch decorating when it was colder outside....
This year, I did buy this new leaf garland at Gabes....
The garland that I had used on the railing for many years had seen it's last days last year so I replaced it with this garland and another piece of garland that I bought on clearance last year....
I left out the beautiful porch sign that my great niece Cait created for me.....
The yellow flowers on it work well with the Fall theme....
For Fall, I also left out all my faux flowers....
As I mentioned before, I attached Fall leaf garland to my Christmas/Winter evergreen garland around the door....
The left side of the Porch....
I also leave out the lighthouse, that I made a few years back out of clay pots, year round.....
Once again, I placed the topiary I made out of a tomato cage on a table by the railing separating my Front Porch from my next door neighbors....
The scarecrows on this plaque, which I had for many years, were looking a
bit worse for wear so I removed them and hung the plaque on the
topiary.....
A faux pumpkin was placed under the table.....
I added this bow that I made to this lantern that I decided to fill with faux gourdes this year....
The white LED Warm White lights have been attached to the evergreen garland....
I made this wreath a few years ago.....
This year, I simply hung a bottle cap style Sunflower sign on the wreath holder so it hangs in the middle of the wreath....
This past weekend, I bought this $3 metal Fall sign....
In the evening, the garland around this door and side railing is lit up by the white lights on the evergreen garland....
I can hang them because of the "weeping" mortar....
I hung the sign, that matches the Porch sign that Cait also made for me, above the Porch light....
I think I need to put a fresh coat of Spray Paint on my Welcome Friends sign....
I have had the Harvest sign now for several years.....
I changed out my Summer chair cushions and pillows for ones that I used in the past whose colors are perfect for Fall....
I moved one of the pots, that I filled with faux flowers, and added a faux sunflower bush, that I also just bought in Gabes for $5, to it along with a scarecrow yard stake....
I placed a terra cotta Jack O' Lantern that I have had for many years on the table between the chairs....
In the corner of the Porch.....
I made the Fall rake sign from a child's rake....
I also added a Fall yard stake to the tree that graces the Porch year round along with a wood leaf plaque....
A set of orange lights were also added to the white ones on the tree...
I changed out the mailbox cover for a Fall scarecrow one....
I topped off he orange lantern with a white faux pumpkin and placed a Harvest Time pumpkin in front of it on the table....
I hung a Autumn Harvest sign in the corner....
A pumpkin I made from wood scraps is under the table....
And I left out a small pot filled with faux flowers....
The new garlands are now attached to the evergreen garland on the railing....
I also added a set of LED orange lights to the garland....
Bows that I made from 2 different bows are attached to the garland on both sides and in the middle....
I left the faux flowers in these Dollar Tree planters in front of the railing....
I tucked Dollar Tree sunflower and Indian corn yard stakes in the planters....
I also hung Indian Corn in the center...
This was a Valentine's sign that my late husband Joe bought for 90% off in Big Lot's that I repainted in my yellow, orange and burgundy Porch colors....
On the side of the Porch....
My next door neighbor Mehrukh always posts pictures of my Front Porch to her Instagram page...
This is her children Anaya and Usef sitting on my Porch....
And me as Mehrukh liked that my sunflower shirt matched the Porch!!
I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY for my next post where I hope to share the front yard and how the Front Porch looks all lit up in the evening.......
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

I gotta say, when it comes to outdoor and front porch decorations, "I love fall best of all!"
ReplyDeleteThis is just absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to start on my porch! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI still have my patriotic decor out (I put it up end of May and it stays till September, indoors I had lemons for color), but I am planning to switch it out this weekend. I just bought a new wreath today and gave my old one to my mom. I have a wooden welcome sign from a couple years ago from Aldi. Enjoy the fall!
