 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared the Apothecary Cabinet that I set up in my Hutch in the Dining Room....

 And Minerva.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Today, I will be wrapping up my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Halloween....

I will begin where I left off, working my way around the room....

In the corner across from the hutch......

This cabinet was up in my bedroom on the side of Joe's roll top desk......

I moved it down to the Dining Room after cleaning it out so I could use it to store glassware, vases, etc. in it....

The finish on it matches well with Joe's Grandmother's Dining Room furniture.....

I placed a black vintage Mantilla Chapel Veil over a white lace place mat.....

I bought the battery operated black candles at a local close out store for $1 each and my friend Anne Mare gifted me the pumpkin head box.....

To the side on a pedestal is a cute witch ...

I bought her several years ago in Wegman's....

A pumpkin that matches the witch's dress and an antique Victorian shoe ( witch's boot) that I filled with florals are on the floor..

On the soffit above, hangs a framed piece of a vintage Halloween crepe paper that my friend Anne Marie gifted me.....

She framed it herself last year....

This year, I decided to use the black spider web tablecloth, that I usually use on the Dining Room table, as a table topper for the table in the corner.....

My Halloween Tree....

Dollar Tree signs hang on the antique window that divides the Living Room from the Dining Room....

This is a 4 ft. silver tinsel tree that I bought on clearance in Big Lot's several years ago after Christmas.....

I topped it with a simple witch's hat pick...

And a bow I made from 2 different types of ribbon.....

I made a lot of the ornaments for this Tree.....

There is a silver and black beaded garland on the Tree that was bought after Christmas at Target....

And I wrapped a wired silver skeleton face garland around the Tree....

On the table under the Tree.....

2 large silver mercury glass pumpkins in the back of the table on each side of the Tree....

My Yankee Candle Pumpkin People tea light holders.....

Joe used his comp points from the Mohegan Sun Casino here in Wilkes Barre to "purchase " them for me ....

Joe quit going to the casino when he retired and also quit smoking then too.....

Apparently these pumpkin people go from $30 to $60 a piece on Ebay!!!

The skeletons are from Dollar General for a Buck a piece and the leaf lights are from Dollar Tree....

On the marble topped stand next to the table, is a spooky bird cage......

Hanging from the wall clock is a tassel witch, also gifted to me by Anne Marie....

I placed this bird cage, that I spray painted black, topped with a bow and raven and placed a silver skull inside of, in a vintage milk glass compote ball.....

I wrapped orange berry garland and silver skeleton wired garland around the bottom......

Underneath it....

Do you see the teeth in the glass jar?????

Guess who they belonged to???????

My " May I Play?" Home Interiors picture.....

Black skeletons hang from the sconces.....

On the shelf are 2 Trick or Treat baskets I made from peat pots.....

Two Halloween trees from Dollar Tree and I made the jar in the center.....

In the corner by the Kitchen.....

On the shelf to the side of the curio......

My vintage Funeral Basket on a marble topped stand.....

I change up the floral arrangement in this basket for each Holiday......

 A cemetery scene ......

A tombstone, a casket and an antique Funeral card gifted to me by Anne Marie....

 On top of the Curio....

I bought the candelabra in Gabes several years ago.....

 A pumpkin that I embellished......

 An Edgar Allan Poe plaque....

A framed picture from a calendar sits on the floor in front of the curio.....

An Edgar Allan Poe display on the cabinet my Dad made to match Joe's Grandmother's Dining Room set....

I framed graphics that I printed out and embellished this silver clock set to Midnight.....

"Once upon a Midnight Deary"....

That is a salt and pepper set from Big Lot's....

A spider web runner was placed over the white lace runner......

I bought this typewriter in Ross many years ago.....

"Quoth the Raven NEVERMORE!!"

And that completes my tour of the Dining Room decorated in a Spooky Halloween theme....

I hope you enjoyed seeing it as much as I enjoyed doing it....

Some consider it "work" but I consider it "PLAY"!

And that also ends my room by room tours of my house decorated for Falloween this year....

I hope you will visit again on THURSDAY when I will be sharing a simple Halloween tablescape, the outside of the house lit up at night for Halloween and my annual Falloween whole house tour!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  2. I deleted this comment from someone who chose to be Anonymous, I wonder why....."Looks like someone has hoarding issues." I actually find this funny because it really is none of this person's business what my issues are!! This is the way i like my house to look and that is all that matters to me and to my family....So I suggest to this person who wrote this that if you can not say something nice, say nothing at all because apparently your parents did not teach you the principles of common courtesy....Thanks for stopping by!!! LOL!

  3. Hoarding? LOL. I think someone has a bully issue.
Meanwhile, it is work - a WORK OF ART! So many details. And you make changes every year that make it better and better. The trees look great and I love those skeleton candelabras!

  5. Wow! I can't even imagine decorating like that here (naughty kitten issues ;-)), but it's amazing! My favorite is the Halloween tree.
