Hobby Lobby is being built between Wren Kitchens and Barnes & Nobles....
The back of Michael's, which I have to go to as I have $75 in gift cards to use there......
A coating of SNOW!!!!
Hopefully, we will get a lot more in February/March because with no Snow Melt from the Winter, our water supplies may be in jeopardy and there may be water restrictions come the Spring!!
I am pleased to say that last week, I finally finished packing away all of Christmas in the downstairs and decorating it for Winter/ Valentine's!!!
Some sneak peeks for the Living Room.....
I will be doing posts on these rooms in the future!!
I will start packing away Christmas upstairs the second week of February as I want to enjoy it a bit longer!!!!
Today, I will be completing my Tour of the Kitchen, decorated for Winter with a bit of Valentine's....
I also shared this wall in the Kitchen, which I call my focal wall, in a previous post....
We will pick up where I left off in that post.....
On the side of the Stove....
Winter pot holders and oven mitts....
The grater planter that I made a few years ago.....
A bird ornament is clipped to the floral arrangement and an initial ornament, a D with red cardinals on it!
My rolling pin collection in my vintage Planter's Peanuts canister which was my Mother's....
I framed a picture from a calendar.....
Ornaments and magnets that I crocheted a long time ago....
More towels....
On the side of the stove.....
A large red snowflake cookie cutter and a Winter pot holder....
A "Let it Snow" sign....
We took the Kitchen window out when my Dad made the enclosed Porch into another room....
I still decorate it like a window.....
A Snowman Cookie Cutter hangs on the other side.....
Last year, I made a new Winter swag to hang above the sink.....
I changed the valance to one I made from a tablecloth, hung bird houses from the fretwork and decorated the tea cup chandy that I made for Valentine's.......
I left up the Hot Cocoa signs, bought in Dollar General, at Christmas on each side of the cabinets....
The window sill is decorated with Snowmen and Red Cardinals which is the theme for the Kitchen for Winter....
A Jim Shore angel with a red cardinal ornament.....
A crackle glass Red Cardinal Hurricane light with a red bird house on top of it....
The red house and red barn are ornaments bought years ago at Walmart.....
A Snowman holding a basket of hearts....
I already shared this area and my Beverage Bar in my previous post....
On top of the fridge.....
This year, I used the rag rug that I used on the counter bar in previous years here on the top of the fridge....
I bought the tea pot at a flea market many years ago....
I kept out a few tins that I bought in Dollar General for Christmas for elevation....
My friend Anne Marie gifted me this adorable Snowman a few years ago.....
Notice that there are red Cardinals on the bottle brush tree in the back ground....
I just realized that the Red Cardinal on the lamp shade is taking a nose dive!!!
The Cute Snowman with the Red Cardinals was a Christmas gift this year from my friend Anne Marie.....
Owls and Snowflakes....
A bow made from the same plaid and Red Cardinal ribbon hangs in the center that I used through out the Kitchen.....
Icicles, bird houses and reindeer.....
Before Christmas, I bought 2 Red Cardinal place mats at Ollies and used them as a runner on the counter bar....
On the left side.....
Mason jars with Red Cardinals and bottle brush trees inside of them on top of the red mercury candle holders......
The small Snowman tea pot is filled with peppermint candy.....
I left out the Snowman tea pot after Christmas.....
I left out one of the reindeer mugs that I bought in Big Lot's before Christmas and filled it with cough drops....
I made the cafe curtain from a tablecloth and I bought the Red Cardinal rug in Ollies.....
Joe puts his "Goodies" in the basket that was gifted to my by Trish, who owns the house next to us....
On the side of the counter bar......
"Baby! It's Cold Outside"
I moved this Tree that I had on the window sill for Christmas into this Red Cardinal basket....
And that completes my Tour of the Kitchen decorated for Winter with Red Cardinals and Snowmen with a touch of Valentine's.....
I hope you enjoyed the Tour!!!
It took me 3 days to change over the Kitchen from Christmas to Winter....
I hope you will come back on THURSDAY when I will be sharing the first part of my Tour of the Dining room decorated for Valentine's including anew Candy and Hot Cocoa Bar on the buffet.....
So I hope you will stop by to visit again on
THURSDAY!!!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
