Fall Crafting in the Past

 Welcome!!

This coming week temps. of 90+ degrees are predicted again with high humidity!!!!
Apparently, Mother Nature does not know that the calendar says September!!!!

I am itching to start decorating for Fall but I will have to wait until it cools down  a bit because I am sure our attic must be 1000 degrees up there and that is where all my Fall decorations are stored.....

I have some ideas for some new Fall crafts but until I get my act together and get busy making them, I thought I would revisit some Fall crafts that I have made in the past ...........

But first, I want to Thank Laurie, over at My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies, for featuring my post, "Sweet" Summer Tree in the Craft Room, from last week's Snickerdoodle Create, Make and Bake Party!!!
 Thanks so much, Laurie!!

Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!!!

As I mentioned, over the years I have done a bit of Crafting celebrating the Fall Season which has always been my favorite time of year........

I "blinged" up and "dabbled" with some store bought pumpkins.........
I embellished them using acorns bought at Dollar Tree........
 And leaves........
 I embellished velvet pumpkins......
Which are making a come back this year as velvet is also coming back into style.......

I even used small ornaments for embellishments....
More store bought pumpkins bought on Clearance......
I spray painted these before adding a bit of bling to them.....
Click HERE to see that post........

Several years ago, I also made pumpkins out of Toilet Paper!!!
I have seen several new posts on how to make them this year.......

Click HERE to see how I made them......

I made an Autumn Topiary using a tomato cage.........
My inspiration came from this photo in an issue of Country Sampler magazine!
I may be doing something different with this topiary this year......
Click HERE to read the post about how I made this topiary......

I like shopping at Dollar Tree for inexpensive craft supplies......

Several years ago, I bought a few vintage looking Fall plaques.......
I used them to make a few things like this Fall Broom......
  This rake......
  And this wreath........
I also buy a lot of my Florals at Dollar Tree.......

I made more wreaths using the florals bought at Dollar Tree......
The bow was made from ribbon also bought at Dollar Tree......

Another wreath.......
 A few floral arrangements too........
I made a garland for our front porch railing ........
I even spray painted an old baking sheet with chalkboard paint........
This might be moving into the Kitchen this year........

When I first got married 40 years ago, I did some Counted Cross Stitch projects.......

About 2 years ago, I FINALLY made them into pillows!!!
I am embarrassed to admit that it took me so long to do something with them!!!!!

I embellished a few Fall Leave ornaments for my Autumn Tree in the Living Room......
I decorated my Powder Room, which has a pink and black color theme, for Fall by embellishing a few pumpkins........

A black half pumpkin......
I spray painted a few pumpkins, bought at Dollar Tree, pink........
And added some flowers, glitter and ribbon to them.......
Last year, I bought this pretty ribbon at Dollar Tree and added it to other ribbons, making a new Bow to top my Autumn Tree off with.....
Like I said, I am itching to decorate for Fall this year.......

I will be giving this guy, that I bought at a Flea Market, a little bit of a make over.......
And maybe this Fall Angel.......
And I will be decorating underneath my Autumn Tree with this sweet truck......
And wagon......
So I hope you will come back to visit again!!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
