Winter/Valentine's in the Kitchen , 2017

Welcome!!

Today, I will be sharing the rest of y Winter decorations in the Kitchen, with a bit of Valentine's Day decorations.......

But first I want to Thank Stacey, over at Embracing Change, for featuring my post, Winter Tree in the Den, from last week's Creative Inspirations Linky Party!!
Thanks so much, Stacey!!!!

Please stop by and link up to this great party!!
In previous posts, I shared my Winter Bird Tree, the new dishes that Joe bought and how I displayed them in the upper half of my Kitchen Hutch and how I decorated the lower half of my Kitchen Hutch for winter......

If you missed those posts, they are on my Side Bar or you can click on the links above.....

The only thing different from those posts with this wall in our Kitchen is that I changed out my vintage apron that hang on each side , to Valentine's Aprons that Joe bought in Wegman's a few years ago.......
 On the left side.....
  Over on the right side......
My feeble attempt at Chalkboard art.......
A few hearts that I bought a very long time ago at a church flea market hang from the shelf above the doorway to the Den......
Winter and Valentine oven mits......
Crocheted heart magnets on the oven hood and vintage pot holders hang above the stove.....
Valentine towels and Winter greenery in the crock.....
What used to be the Kitchen window before we made the back porch into our Den......
I like to decorate this area for the Holidays and the Seasons......

It looked like this for Christmas...
And now looks like this for Winter/Valentine's...
I have decorated this area for Winter and Valentine's Day.......
I changed out the evergreen garland from Christmas back to ivy garland with red rose lights......
I have also decorated the chandy.......
Topped it off with a bow made out of plaid ribbon the I bought on Clearance after Christmas and have used through out the Kitchen for my Winter decorations.......

I hung a few heart ornaments from the chandy......
An ornament that was gifted to me by my sister hangs in the center......
The red beads hanging from the chandy were bought by Joe, who really does love to shop, at Wegman's after Christmas this year......
I hung these cute heart ornaments, bought a few years ago, from the gingerbread work .......
A Valentine's decoration hangs in the middle of the garland......
The birdhouses, which a painted, will stay here until next Christmas......
On the sill.......
A crackle glass cardinal hurricane lamp with LED fairy lights inside that I bought in Bed, Bath and Beyond before Christmas......
2 Winter mason jars, one has a snow man and the other has a snowflake embossed on them,,,,,
I placed a cardinal and 2 small bottle brush trees in each mason jar......
I love the way the cardinal crackle glass hurricane looks at night.....
Over by the coffee and tea area......
Snow flake pot holders hang from the door knobs.....

 I chalkboard Valentine plaque......
The vintage fiesta ware sugar bowl holds my artificial Sweetner packets and the tea pot holds sugar......
The Mr. and Mrs. mugs were gifted to me for Christmas by a friend......

The plaid place mat was bought after Christmas.....

Where I store my flavored teas......
On top of the refrigerator.....
A few Winter items........
A tea pot with a snow man on it and vintage Lefton mini cardinal bowl and pitcher......
A hand painted cardinal votive that I bought at a Craft Fair......
Over by the counter bar......
I left up the garland that I used for Christmas.......

It looked like this for Christmas.......
And it now looks like this......
I have now decorated it for Winter/Valentine's .......
I made bows out of 2 different ribbons....... cardinal and plaid......
I hung silver pewter like heart ornaments.......
And some red hearts......
And a few cardinal ornaments.......
The puck lights were bought in the Fall at Sam's Club and can be operated with a remote.....
I have changed the color on them from green, which I used for Christmas, to red for Valentine's........
The counter bar below.......
Vintage crocheted rose pot holders and doilies ...........
A snow man and cardinal runner is on the counter bar......
On the side of the counter bar........
See the chicken ornament?? I bought a few of them in Walmart after Christmas.......
Some Winter greenery is tucked in the crock and planter......

And that completes my tour of the Kitchen decorated for Winter/Valentine's.......
I hope you enjoyed it!!

It will stay decorated like this until the end of February because after all February is American Heart  Month!!
So I hope you will come by and visit  again as I will be sharing my Valentine's decoration in the Dining Room!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Debbie
