Thanks so much, Beverly!!

Please take some time to stop by and link up to these great parties!

In Big Lot's, he found these vinyl Patriotic tablecloths for just over $1.00 each.....
And how could he resist this sign with a B on it since our last name starts with B!!!!
In Wegman's, he found some great lighting items!!
I am only showing 2 packs here but he bought 4 packs of Fairy Lights with a 5 foot cord for only $4.00 each!!
And 3 packs of Solar Bottle Lights at $5.00 each marked down from $15 each!

This Solar lantern was reduced to $7.00 from $30!
Here is what I did with one set of the Fairy Lights.....
I placed them in a crackle glass candle jar holder that Joe bought last year on Clearance in Wegman's.
They also can be set on a timer too!!

And here is where I hung this Solar Lantern.......

I attached one of the Bottle Solar Lights to a Vintage clear Bottle.......
The lights are yellow in color and flicker when lit!!
In Sam's Club, he could not resist these.......
A set of 5 LED lights that light up in white, red, green or blue for only $20!!!

You can dim them and also put them on a timer with a remote control......
I decided to use them in the Kitchen.......

I placed 3 of them underneath the shelf above the counter bar in the Kitchen......
And 2 of them above the sink......
You can see how they looked with the white lights on.........

Here is how they look in red..........
In green.........
And in Blue.......
These will be great for Holiday lighting!!

You can also use the remote to dim them and put them on a timer.....

Also in Wegman's, these were reduced to $1.74 each!!
Here is where I hung 2 of them!
This Herb Garden Container Set was only $2.00. I will put this away for next Summer.....
And these were under $2.00 each!!
These dish towels were marked down to 74 cents each!!
Not too bad of a haul!!

  4. Deb, you got really lucky! A husband that likes to shop! Everything is so pretty and sure fits in your charming space. I had a little jar of lights that looked like what I imagine fireflies look like, since I've never seen them, and some creep stole them out of our front garden..Happy Wednesday..xxoJudy

  6. Love all his bargains. We bought the same color changing light sets for under our kitchen cabinets and liked them so well we went back and bought sets for the basement cabinets and under the bar. We were not as lucky as Joe though. We had to pay full price.

Love solar lights in the yard. Nice to see lights and know you are not paying for electric to run them.

  10. Your Joe reminds me so much of my Glenn with his flair for shopping and his generous heart. He knows what you like and he likes making you happy. My Glenn does so much for me too. He clips coupons and watches for deals, as he does 99% of the grocery shopping and makes sure my pantry is stocked. I do 100% of the cooking/baking, unless it is outdoor grilling and he knows my preferences. Last week he brought home 2 magazines for me, one of my favorites which he knows I watch for each season. The other he thought I would like and he was spot on. We are blessed to have our good men and I love hearing about Joe!

  11. Wow! Joe did good!

The last thing Steve would ever do would be to go shopping. I don't think it would ever occur to him to look for bargains for me.

But, in his defense, he does all the grocery shopping and cooking.

    Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  14. Joe really is a great shopper....he seems to know exactly what you like and can use! If not for H, I wouldn't have that new chandy...would have driven right on by it thinking it was too expensive. Maybe they are both keepers....lol! I love all the new lighting he picked up....hugs...

  19. Well doggone it, always so good to have lighting sources. When we lived in KY if wind blew lights went out for while. As soon as wind came up would get out candles, oil lanterns. We lived out in country so it got very dark in a hurry and I was alone. At that time hubs was over road trucker.
Think you gals got all the really good shoppers out there, am so envious of all the awesome bargains your Joe found at such incredible prices, enjoy him and all those treasures. Makes me wish we had a Wegmans.
