I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Summer Fairy Garden Tub, 2017

Welcome!!

This Spring has really been very wet and very cool!!
And you can see that next week looks like more of the same and now they are calling for high's only in the 60's for the rest of next week!!

I would much rather temps. in the 70's than in the 80's and above. I am no lover of the Summer heat but I would like a little more Sun and less rain!!

I did manage to set up my Fairy Garden tub out in the back yard........

But first, I want to thank Dagmar, over at Dagmar's Home, for featuring my post, The Patio Project, Joe's Side, Part 3  from last week's Dagmar's Home Link Party!!
 Thanks so much, Dagmar!!

I also want to Thank Kathy, over at A Delightsome Life, for featuring my post, Our Front Yard, from last week's Home and Garden Thursday Link Party!!
Thanks again, Kathy!!

Please take some time to stop by and link up to these great parties!!

You may remember that I use my Fairy Garden items year round.........

Under the Tree in the Sitting Room where I added Christmas Fairy Garden items from Big Lot's.....
And after Christmas, I created a "Fairy Garden Mantle" in the Sitting Room on my faux fire place......
Now I have moved everything outside in 2 tubs which is where I started my first fairy gardens......
Today, I will be sharing this Fairy Garden tub.
I bought the tub last year on Amazon and Joe drilled 2 small dollies into the bottom so it could roll and I could move it under the awning when it rains........

Let's take a closer look.......
I used colored crystals from Dollar Tree to mimic grass and water and pea gravel for the rest......
The bridge is in the "grass".....
I will let the pictures do most of the talking.......
Love my tea pot house!!
The toad stool leaf hammock is new this year...
So is the pink roof house.....
The "pond"......
This fairy garden tub sits over in what I call, my side, of the Patio........
If you look beyond the tub, you can see a few Gnomes in the garden to the right..........
I will be showing you the garden in a future post...

That is if it ever stops raining and my flowers get some Sun to grow!!

In my next post, I will be sharing my Gnome garden tub........
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

  4. Now I know why I love you so much Debbie, you're a fellow fairy gardener. I adore the one you made in the tub, it's so full of interesting bits and it's such a great idea to use the green glass pebbles to mimic fairy grass. I'm going to steal that idea for one of our fairy gardens.

  6. I love cool springs, once it gets in the 80's it is just too hot to do anything outside. but I do understand having too much rain.
Your little gardens are just the cutest, I love the ones with the glass water, that is so neat, and so great that you are able to get so much use through the different seasons for your villages!
