I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Summer Patriotic Decorations, Part 2, 2017

 Welcome!!

Today, I am sharing the rest of my Summer Patriotic decorations.......

If you missed my previous post where I showed you the first of 3 Patriotic Trees....

I treat the top of the TV entertainment center as a "mantle" since I do not have one in the Living Room........
This is my Summer Patriotic display for this year .......
The left side.......
This is an Avon goblet with Betsy Ross on it that I bought at Salvation Army........
A figurine of Ben Franklin and a cup cake dish bought at The Christmas Tree Shop.......
The plate with the Liberty Bell on it was bought at a Flea Market.......
And the smaller bowl is a Liberty Blue Betsy Ross Bowl, also bought at a Flea Market......
In the center is my 2nd Patriotic Tree.........
A Patriotic ribbon bow tops the Tree.......
And it is decorated with red and blue ornaments and star wire garland......
These Patriotic Carolers were bought at The Christmas Tree Shop........
In the middle is an Avon creamer with Monticello on it and an Avon Betsy Ross cologne decanter.......
On the right side.....
Another Avon goblet with George Washington on it......
Another cup cake dish and a Thomas Jefferson figure......
The plate is Liberty Blue Independence Hall dinner plate and another Liberty Blue Betsy Ross bowl......
This will remain this way until after July the 4th........
When you walk in the front door, this is what you see........
My 3rd Patriotic Tree.........
I bought this sweet girl at an Estate Sale.......
Joe bought this LED lighted branch Tree after Christmas in Bed, Bath and Beyond.......
I simply hung some red, blue and silver ornaments on it and added a strand of star wired garland......
At the base of the Tree is an arrangement I made......
Over on my faux window in the Living Room, hangs a wreath and a plaque that I made......
And another wreath that I made hangs in the hall way.......
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Patriotic Summer decorations for this year........

Normally, I would be sharing my Patriotic Front Porch next but we have been stuck in a rainy cool weather pattern for weeks now.

I managed to decorate the porch and take a few photos in between the rain showers........
You can see how dismal it looks outside .....

We got another inch of rain here over the past few days, on top of the 3 inches of rain the week before and the 4 inches of rain the week before that!!

So it has been a very wet Spring here in NEPA!!

Because of that I am going to hold off doing a whole post on my Patriotic Porch until the 4th of July....

I will then be able to give you an update on how my flowers are growing out in the front too......

I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......
