I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Living Room Easter Tour, Part 1, 2017

Welcome!!!

Today I will be sharing how I decorated the Living Room for Easter........

I am going to split the Tour up into 2 posts with this one being Part 1......

So far, I have showed you my Easter Tree......
If you missed this post, please click HERE......

I also shared how I decorated the top of the TV Entertainment Center for Easter.......
Click HERE to see if you missed that post.......

Today, I am going to show you what you see when you walk into our home..........
This is the "foyer" area of the Living Room........

On the marble stand next to the door.......
I filled the base of the hurricane candle with some Easter eggs.......
Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit and a hand made egg.........
A Bunny plaque hangs on the door.......
I added a few Easter items to the top of the Hutch........
You can see the reflection in the mirror of the small decorated Tree on top of the TV .........
Bunnies and an Easter Sign.....
A Cross stands in the middle of the Hutch.....
The other side.....
Looking at the stairs and the hall way to the Kitchen......
The 3rd Tree in the Living Room decorated for Easter.........
Hanging above the Tree, is a Bunny wreath I made......
With a "Spring Time" plaque from the Dollar Tree hanging below it.........
Bows made out of deco mesh ribbon in 2 different colors top the lanterns on the steps which also have eggs and flameless candles inside of them.......
I bought this LED lighted Branch Tree at Bed, Bath and Beyond after Christmas for 50% off....
I filled the bowl and pitcher that is sitting next to the Tree with a Spring floral arrangement that I made.......
I decorated the Tree with colored styrofoam eggs bought at The Dollar Tree......
The Tree sits on top of a plate charger with bunnies, eggs and an egg box that I embellished nestled  in some Easter straw......
In my next post, I will share the rest of the Living Room all decked out for Easter.......
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  2. Debbie, I enjoyed the stroll through your living room looking at all the personal touches you added to celebrate not only spring but Easter. I can't help but think of Easter when spring rolls in because it reminds so of Christ's resurrection. Just like Christ rose from death, the earth does sort of the same thing as new life springs forth in nature. It's really a beautiful reminder of Jesus's love for us. Thanks for stopping in for a visit!

  3. I always enjoy seeing what you have to share! I am really not a very crafty person. My mother was a florist and made beautiful arrangements but it's not a talent I inherited. I'm working on it though and enjoy it when I get the chance. Thanks so much for sharing at Over the Moon. We'll see you again next week!

  5. Everything looks so pretty Debbie! I love your branch tree....I may have packed mine away too early! It's spring break this week and we are taking a family trip for a few days...so I will be taking a break from my computer. I still have my IPhone though, so you may see me in and out....hugs...
