Spooky Dining Room, Part 1, 2016

Welcome to Part 1 of my Tour of our Dining Room decorated for Halloween!!

Let's start in this corner......
Today, I want to share the 2 tables in this corner by the Dining Room.......
The first table in this corner of the Dining Room is an antique Smoking table that was given to me by a neighbor........
The top of the table.......
I recently bought this "stack of books" at Michael's.....
"Brews, Potions and Enchantments"
In a crystal compote is a mercury glass pumpkin embellished with rhinestones.......
Joe bought it on clearance at Burlington last year for only $2.00!

On top of the pumpkin is a crow and spider......
These are 2 embellished peat pots that I made and filled with candy.......
A Bony Hand grasps a black and white pumpkin.......
A Halloween floral arrangement in a crystal vase.....
Underneath the table.......
Several pumpkins..........
A rat and a black rose.......
A black cat.......
  My Halloween Witch's Table.......

On the side of the table , hanging on the vintage window.......
Several Halloween signs.....
A Halloween Tussie Mussie that I made.......
A Bow made from Halloween Ribbon and 2 Skeleton Lady ornaments dressed up the wall clock.......
A handmade Witch's Hat rests on top of a vintage Hurricane Lamp........
 Potion Bottles and Skulls......
A skull rests in an antique silver Bridal Basket......
A silver bony hand holds a pumpkin......
A bottle filled with chocolate "eye balls"......
A Bat plate behind a few potion bottles............
I made the potion bottles out of household jars......
They rest on a silver platter from Dollar Tree.....
On the side of the table is a marble topped stand......
A Bird Cage sits on top of it........
A bow made out of 3 different ribbons rests on top of the bird cage.....
A silver skull that I just bought at Dollar Tree is displayed inside of it......
The bird cage is on top of  a pedestal that I made by gluing a plate to a candle stick.......

A black pumpkin and white skull, also bought at Dollar Tree below it......
In my next post, I will be sharing the rest of my Dining Room decorated for Halloween!!
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  4. Hi Debbie, wow, so many fun decorations to admire! Cute idea to place the witch's hat on the lamp and your blackbirds, I think they came from the same neck of the woods that mine did! Michael's! Thanks so much for visiting my Halloween post and have a wonderful Autumn weekend!

  5. Oh, Debbie-DEE!! I have just enjoyed this immensely, scrolling down and down through all the whimsical and scary and quite-clever touches---your artistic brain just thinks of the most interesting things.

Your seasons are such a treat to visit and enjoy---I just don't know where you find the time or all those special items---and your knack for arranging them, pairing this with that and making such a charming (and scary) group of vignettes everywhere I look.

I always leave your site smiling from all the fun, and as with another Holiday Decoration Queen of my acquaintance (the talented lady at Purple Chocolat Home) I go back to my own little arrangings so impressed and so covetous of the SPACE you must have for storing all your lovelies. I can't find glasses and keys at the same time, and have posted on my own blog only once in weeks, while you keep up with seasons and themes and colours like a genius. Wow.

  6. Tee hee hee Debbieeeee - what a room filled with Halloween goodies! This looks like a Halloween shop - every surface filled to glorious perfection! Haha, I have to laugh at what Rachel said, because I was just wondering where you store all of your delectable goodies too! (Mine are in bins in the basement!)
I love the jars, the skeleton ladies on the clock, the variety of pumpkins, the birdcage - oh whatever - I LOVE IT ALL! You are too fun!
