Today, I am going to be sharing Part 1 of my Living Room decorated in An Elegant Fall Theme.....

But first, I want to Thank Sherry, over at The Charm of Home, for featuring my post, Been Playing with Pumpkins Again, from last week's Home Sweet Home Party!!
 Thanks so much , Sherry!!

And I also want to Thank Cindy, over at Little Miss Celebration, for featuring my post,
An Elegant Autumn Tree from last week's Best of the Weekend Party!!
 Thanks so much. Cindy!!

Please stop by and link up to these great parties!!

In previous posts, I shared my Elegant Autumn Tree......
Click HERE if you missed that post......
And I also shared how I decorated beneath the Tree........
Click HERE if you missed that post.........

Today, I want to share how I decorated my Living Room in an Elegant Fall Theme but I will be doing it in a 3 posts and this one is Part 1.

We will start with the hutch that is right to the left of the front door when you walk in........
I added some Fall touches to it......

But first, on the side of the hutch.........
Fall Florals and a pumpkin that I made out of a roll of toilet paper and a gold glittered flamesless candle.........
A Scarecrow rests in the planter.....
The top of the hutch.......
A Fall plate with leaves on it......
 A Fall Leaf garland.......
 Glittered candles, pumpkins and gourdes.......
On the other side of the hutch.......
Inside the Hutch.......
I added some pumpkin, gourd and Indian corn tea lights.......
Along with some pumpkins..........
Looking down the hall way...........
On the stairs......
A Metal pocket filled with Fall florals.....
Lanterns .......
Colored flameless candles......
And more pumpkins made from rolls of toilet paper....
A Fall rug that Joe bought......
A Fall Broom and a tussie mussie that I made.......
Fall florals added to the top of the curio......
A Fall Floral arrangement with orange LED lighted branches in the pitcher.....
A Fall display on the chair......
Pumpkins and acorns......
 Pine cones and leaves.......
Below the chair.......
 More pumpkins.......
The Curio....
On the floor by the Curio......
I just bought this cute squirrel at Big Lot's......

Looking down the hall way toward the Kitchen.....
On the side of the chair by the Dining Room......
I bought this vintage style Stereo System a few years ago at Big Lot's........
A few different style pumpkins........
A Fall bottle and leaf votive candle holder.....
Joe saw the table at an Antique Co Op and I thought it was a perfect match!!
I added a few Autumn touches to each section......
I made the floral arrangement inside the cute wagon that I bought at a Flea Market......
Over on the chair, are 2 pillows that I made.......
The gold pillow is made out of napkins that match the runners and tablecloths that I will now use in the Living Room for Fall, Christmas and Valentine's Day........

I bought these linens in Target many years ago on Clearance after Christmas and it took me this long to make pillows out of the napkins!!
Now this story will surely make you laugh........

I made an Autumn pillow out of a stamped cross stitch piece that I made .......

Wait for it......

OVER  35 YEARS AGO!!!!!!
I never said I was quick on finishing projects!! Truth be told, I really didn't know what to do with this piece......
I used the another napkin for the back of the pillow......

I did make another pillow out of yet another stamped cross stitch piece that I also made over 35 years ago and I will show you that one in my next post when I share the rest of the Living Room decorated for Fall........
So I hope you will be back to visit soon!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  2. Everything looks so lovely! I am enjoying it even more than usually because I don't see me doing any decorating this fall. (My upstairs is all torn apart because we are STILL waiting for carpeting to be installed. My daughter's baby is due Nov. 2nd and between helping her get her place ready, helping throw a shower, and caring for a neighbor's mom who suffers from senior dementia and a host of other health problems. I am not a nurse. I AM kind, and caring, and responsible, and do what I can but I know my limitations.) I love your TP pumpkins and want to make at least a couple. I think they would be cute for The Girl Child at college, right? I have been wondering how your knee is doing? The PT in the pool and the Mobic worked wonders. Now that the pool is closed I am trying to be responsible and do my exercises. I started taking Magnesium, biotin, and folic acid with my vitamin D + calcium and I feel 20 years younger. It is 8 pm and I am STILL WEARING CLOTHES!!!I am hoping to get around to updating my phone so I can download pictures and at least do a little post of the baby shower. Take care, Deb, and I look forward to seeing your next creative endeavor!

  4. Love your elegant fall post. The colors are beautiful. Pillow waited 30 years to have a place and it was worth the wait, as it fits perfectly with everything. betsy

  5. Beautifully done and I love the angels in the hutch with the pumpkins, they stand out so well. I have never seen the LED stems, I bet that looks neat at night. Your pillow is so pretty, better late than never on the cross-stitching huh! It makes a perfect pillow!

  18. Debbie, I don't know how you have the energy to do all of this. I put out my fall things, but now am dragging my feet getting the Halloween things down from the attic and out of the bins. Kudos to you! Happy Fall, my friend.
