I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

A Few Sneak Peaks of My "Sitting Room"

ATTENTION: MY MAIN BLOG, DEBBIE-DABBLE, WAS HAVING MAJOR ISSUES AND I HAD LOST ACCESS TO CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE LAYOUT OF THE BLOG SO I HAVE DECIDED TO START A NEW BLOG BECAUSE I FEEL THE ISSUE WITH MY FORMER BLOG MAY NEVER BE RESOLVED.

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

Even though it looks the same, it is a new Blog with "Blog" listed after Debbie-Dabble. This allowed me to still be known as Debbie-Dabble!!

If you followed me on my other Blog, I would so appreciate it if you will follow me on this blog too!!!!

Links are on my Side Bar!!

I have been working hard in my old " Guest Room", now new "Sitting Room".....
I did a lot of painting of furniture.......
If you missed that post, please click HERE

And I finished painting another piece.......
This Wash Stand now looks like this........
I spray painted it white to match everything else.......
I painted mirrors and pictures and re-arranged what was on the walls......

  Played with Shelf arrangements.......
 Moved furniture around........
 Added new furniture......
Moved more pictures around on the walls.....
Rearranged all my books on 2 book cases......
I even played the curio and added some different pieces......
Found the perfect place for my new recliner......
And re-arranged more furniture!!
 After it was painted!!

All I have left to do now is paint my fake Fire Place white.......
And hang the light fixture that was over the bed, over the recliner........
So I hope you will be back to visit soon!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  1. I love all your white painted furniture. White surely brightens up a room. I remember the first piece I painted, I couldn't believe the difference it made. My little grandson claims my favourite colour must be white because of all the white furniture. Kids are so cute! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week, Debbie.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  13. You've been busy! I like white furniture. I've had an old secretary out in the garage for two years. Once in a while I paint, but it's either way too hot out there or the wind is blowing leaves in the garage. Some day I'll finish. I'm sorry about your blog getting hacked. I haven't heard of that happening to anyone before. Not nice at all!

Maybe you have I can't tell. Anyway email me please and tell me what was going on with you.
